Nicole T. Templet
Nicole Templet primarily practices family law, which includes divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, community property, paternity, pre and post nuptial agreements and domestic violence. She represents clients in the Baton Rouge area, as well as its surrounding parishes. Prior to opening her own firm, Nicole was an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Ossie Brown and Rowe Law Firm.
She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and Baton Rouge Bar Association as well as the Family Law Section. Prior to obtaining her law license, Nicole interned for Judge Lisa Woodruff-White of the Family Court in East Baton Rouge Parish, giving her insight into the court system early on in her career.
Nicole attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law on an academic scholarship, where she was selected as a teaching assistant for all first year law students in the Legal Research and Writing course. During her third year of law school, Nicole was admitted to practice as an attorney by special rule of the Louisiana Supreme Court. As a student practitioner, she pursued her passion for family law by successfully representing several clients in both Jefferson and Orleans Parishes. In 2014, she obtained her Juris Doctor and gained admission to the practice of law in all state, parish, and local courts in Louisiana. Nicole received her bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in 2011.
Nicole was born and raised in the Greater New Orleans area and graduated from St. Mary’s Dominican High School. Nicole and her husband are parishioners of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Greenwell Springs, Louisiana. She is also actively involved in the Junior League of Baton Rouge and Forum 35. Nicole is an alumna of the national sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, as well as a member of the Baton Rouge Alumnae Chapter. She supports her alma mater, LSU, through her membership in LSU’s Alumni Association and Tiger Athletic Foundation. Nicole has a long history of volunteer work with various organizations including the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society, both of which she holds dear to her heart. In her leisure time, Nicole enjoys fishing and spending time outdoors, as well as making day-trips to New Orleans to visit her family.
